I wasn't old enough to vote for JFK - Humphrey was my first, but I was more than old enough to really be paying attention. I will be honest enough to say that I was captivated by JFK at the time, and thought he was fabulous. But in the full light of time, history, whatever, I think he was really his father with a better public face. Ironically, personally flawed Ted is, politically, the real thing. And I suspect that "the good Bobby," post 64, was as well. -----Original Message----- From: lug-bounces+bdcolen=earthlink.net@leica-users.org [mailto:lug-bounces+bdcolen=earthlink.net@leica-users.org] On Behalf Of Feli di Giorgio Sent: Wednesday, June 09, 2004 9:19 PM To: Leica Users Group Subject: RE: [Leica] Remembering the Reagan years On Wed, 2004-06-09 at 18:07, B. Even at age 12 we didn't fall for that one... ;-) Feli _______________________________________________ Leica Users Group. See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information
