She's amazing to watch, because she really gets into a zone and tunes out everything around her. I was trying to capture that with my main shot...I'm not sure it entirely worked, so you'll have to take my word for it. ;) Main: http://www.duke.edu/~ajs2/PAW/2004_24/index.html Then, after securing her cooperation, I put my 21 (c/v) on and lay down on the ground for her to hoop over my head. Those hoops are heavy, being made out of PVC pipe, but she's good. I selected a slow shutter speed (maybe 1/15 or even 1/8) in an attempt to capture the motion. Unfortunately, it was too slow and the hoop was invisible in most of the shots. My alternate shows a little bit of hoop, but I don't think you can tell what's going on without the explanation. Next time I'll try a faster shutter speed and try to place her in a better background.
