Subject: [Leica] The morning after ......

I once had to write a story for the Wash Post about the death at the
National Zoo of Smokey The Bear - THE Smokey Bear. So....I wrote it
absolutely straight as a 'human' obit....complete with a final paragraph
saying that Mr. Bear is survived by two sons, blah and blah Bear, and
his wife, Goldie Bear, of the home address. And, yes, they ran it - on
the front of the Style section...I believe I began with something like
"Smokey Bear, a 2? Year employee of the National Park Service, died
yesterday of heart failure at his home at the National Zoo. He was 2?.
:-)
