Did you tell them you have all those stamps in your passport because you
are dedicated to using your art to improve the lives of the poor and
downtrodden of the Third World, who have been left in life's roadside
ditch by the Capitalist Pig Republican Haliburton stockholders who've
taken over Washington? That's slow down you down to a crawl going
through the airports... :-)

Well, I don't have a beard and the last time I checked I didn't really
look
like a terrorist (I really look like a harmless grandmother!), but I
have
been stopped at every possible check point, had to remove my shoes and
belt, produce my card saying I have metal knees, put everything I own
through the metal detectors, had very personal pat-down inspections and
answer a million questions about why I have so many stamps in my
passport
and why I'm carrying so much equipment. I allow at least four hours for

airports now and nearly missed my connections in Miami with a five hour
layover. I'd rather drive, but it's hard to get to the places I go by
car.
