So if it is determined that it will be discontinued, and thus is deeply discounted, any time in the reasonably near future, it means it's something you don't want. Otherwise, it will be sold at whatever the standard U.S. street price is once it's imported. Which is to say - don't hold your breath waiting for it to turn into the Leica "O." -----Original Message----- From: lug-bounces+bdcolen=earthlink.net@leica-users.org [mailto:lug-bounces+bdcolen=earthlink.net@leica-users.org] On Behalf Of Frank Filippone Sent: Monday, July 19, 2004 12:11 AM To: Leica Users Group Subject: RE: [Leica] Epson R-D1 price revealed Epson America, as a US Company, really deeply discount their merchandise, once they determine it is no longer to be sold. Patience may be a real virtue... Keep in mind that this is considered an electronic item with the spares and repair policies of that thinking..... Frank Filippone red735i@earthlink.net Oh well. I'll wait a year until it gets remaindered. Karen _______________________________________________ Leica Users Group. See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information
