On one hand I was attempting to document the bridge when I was shooting with the 10D. My work with the R8 was much the same. But when I was shooting B&W I was shooting for an impression and so they have a different feel - I was factoring differently. I still don't understand why this is happening. Perhaps because I know there is no color being recorded I free myself from thinking about it. So, will this change the way I shoot a Digital M? I don't now. I worry about this. Ultimately I like black and white I guess because I tend to be more interpretive and less literal, whether in landscapes or portraiture.
