Well I'm not sure about heresy...but I've reflected on this and I
think I was searching for different things. On one hand I was
attempting to document the bridge when I was shooting with the 10D. My
work with the R8 was much the same. But when I was shooting B&W I was
shooting for an impression and so they have a different feel - I was
factoring differently.

I still don't understand why this is happening. Perhaps because I know
there is no color being recorded I free myself from thinking about it.
So, will this change the way I shoot a Digital M? I don't now. I worry
about this.

Ultimately I like black and white I guess because I tend to be more
interpretive and less literal, whether in landscapes or portraiture.
