You can take Patrick O'Brian's fine work "The Mauritius Campaign" and
read it on the spot. This is one of his very best Aubry/Maturin
novels. Many of us think they are the finest sea stories ever written:
as if Jane Austen had written sea stories. Highly recommended as
literature as well as novels of the British Navy in the Napoleonic
Wars.
