Funny thing: this time it all sorta makes sense. I just had to do it to ease my arthritic knees. My wife is doing the same program with me, it's a modified South Beach with a good exercise regimen, but I get red wine sometimes, and a glass of single-malt, a few peanuts at the ball game, and every once a while so I don't feel deprived: an ice cream cone. Trips to the super market are noteworthy because we buy almost no processed foods any more. It's more work, but it's clearly a damn sight better for me! Good luck!
