Subject: [Leica] M7 batteries conclusions

Thanks all for the responses regarding my apparently short M7 battery
life.

Though I have had trouble tracking down 1/3N batteries at Leica dealers (!);
I'll try Radio Shack (I'm in the Boston area). I have not been very strict
in turning off the camera when not in use; I am changing this habit right
now. I shoot perhaps 10-15 rolls in two months in the M7 (I'm also keeping
several other cameras -- including what one wag called a "real" Leica --
busy) and at that point the batteries die, so I am in the habit of carrying
a spare set at all times.

Based on the responses, if my practice of positively turning the camera off
when not in use fails to yield dramatic results, it's going off for a
checkup.

I can always use my "real" Leica (ha)
