Bob,

I had Leica R and Contax SLR. My son had the Contax stuff but wasn't
using it. I recently took it back over and sold my R equipment. I have
a 50/1.4, 60/2.8 Makro, 85/1.4 and 25/2.8 and an ST body. All lenses but
the 50 are made in Germany. They're all excellent performers. The 50
is impressive at 1.4. The body is very solid mechanically, but the
electronics aren't the greatest. I had 4 Contax bodies and had problems
with each. I've never had a problem with Leica or Nikon bodies.
