To state the obvious if you asked a Nikon, Hasselblad, Canon, Linhof or
whatever user if they are upset that their camera company of choice was
going under or that they're not for other reasons making your camera any
more it's obvious they would be upset about it for any number of obvious
valid reasons. 
"Oh but there are already so many Nikon, Hasselblad, Canon, Linhof already
made what difference does it make?"
They stare at you amazed.

The 75 Summicron coming out next week for one the M8 or ??? coming out next
year for two.

On what weird tenuous relationship would have have to have with the company
which makes your supposed camera of choice to not even care if they go under
or not? Or if your camera was not made any more?
"Causal to minimal" comes to mind.
