On one of my visits I was taken round the facility, which included visiting the sampling room. I recall a segment of 60 Minutes (or one of those TV News Magazines) years ago where they showed Spam tastings at Hormel. They were carried out much like a wine tasting. My father got his fill of Spam in WWII so we never had it in the house. He did eat potted meat product, though, which I thought was much more disgusting.
