Even with the fuss involved in getting an adapter. Of course, as with most things Leica, they are buying used, and the adapters are from the likes of Cameraquest or Novoflex, so there is no direct benefit to Leica. If they were a bit creative, I am sure they could produce lenses in Canon/Nikon mounts that would provide at least full aperture metering--surely that cannot be so complicated.
