[Author Prev] [Author Next] [Thread Prev] [Thread Next] [Author Index] [Topic Index] [Home] [Search]Whilst I would welcome Leica lenses in other mounts I don't think autofocus lenses are possible to the same precision tha Leica uses - whether this is necessary may be debated - but the electronic diaphragm design and implementation would be very expensive considering the small quantity to amortise the investment. I read that Canon sells more than 100,000 EOS 350 digitals per month. That means in 3 months they sell more than Leica made of the M3, their best selling camera on record. No wonder they can do them so cheap!
