Richard,

You're right.  Velvia 100F is a lot better than the old 50 in that respect:
Caucasians shot with Velvia 50 looked like aliens from a 1950s horror flick.
With 100F, they at least resemble humans.

Hee hee, very cute. The color seems a bit saturated (e.g. flesh tone a bit 
red) but probably just a hallmark of Velvia, even in its 100F incarnation.
