That was exactly my feeling when I had to put my "Chow-chu", my much-loved tabby, to sleep 3 years ago. To Eric, I can feel the pain of the lost of your Norwegian Elkhound, Skye. Please remember the happy moments you shared with him. It might help you feel better, just like it did to me whenever I think of the quality time I had with my "Chow-chu". All the Best, Joe L. -----Original Message----- From: lug-bounces+jcyleung8=shaw.ca@leica-users.org [mailto:lug-bounces+jcyleung8=shaw.ca@leica-users.org]On Behalf Of Jeffery Smith Sent: Friday, July 22, 2005 6:27 PM To: 'Leica Users Group' Subject: RE: [Leica] Skye, 1997 - 2005 Eric, I'm so sorry. Every animal I have lost affected me profoundly when alive, and each was missed profoundly when gone. I share your pain. It is always so painful. I let our dogs outside, and they chased a rabbit across the yard and to the fence, where it darted out of sight. After I closed the door, our other dog started baying. Skye had taken a step back from the fence and collapsed. He died instantly. http://canid.com/pets/skye.html -- Eric http://canid.com/ _______________________________________________ Leica Users Group.
