It took me some time to realize that I had taken the same roll of Kodak Tmax 400 to NYC twice-- in November of 2003 and a couple of years earlier (I can't recall when, but the Twin Towers show in a couple of pictures)! What was surprising (to me) is that the camera (a Contax G2-- I apologize for the off-topic equipment) had loaded the roll exactly in the same position: the space between frames was perfectly even, you could not tell there were two images on each frame. (Yes, in the interim I had used the camera-- the undeveloped roll had just been laying around, forgotten, and when I was traveling back to NYC I thought it was unexposed and took it with me) Since then, of course, I also make sure the roll is completely inside the canister when I finish-- no matter which camera I use (I had set one of the "custom functions" of the G2 to leave the end out). But the reason I bring this up is that some of the images result (to my eyes) interesting. I have posted them on a folder in the Leica Gallery http://www.leica-gallery.net/jgbanacloc/folder-8119.html In particular, I like these two (Flatiron-Metlife and Trolls Dig Disco): http://www.leica-gallery.net/jgbanacloc/image-86436.html http://www.leica-gallery.net/jgbanacloc/image-86443.html I guess there is not much to say, but I was surprised by the images-- and unexpectedly seeing the "ghost" of the WTC was kind of eerie.
