So, ok. I thought I'd give it a try. Expose and process the film like
the box says. So instead of shooting Louice at EI 1600 and 3200, I
ended up with Agfa APX400 at 320.

My zone system: if it's on the scene, you're not going to get very
many good results if you shoot slower than 1/25 wide-open (and you're
not going to get a hell'uv'a'lot then either). It becomes a question
of timing. Snap when the movements reach their zenith:

(Kiev 4A, Helios-103, 1/25 @ 1.8)

If they're in the crowd, you can hold your breath, hyperventilate and
go down to 1/5 (still wide-open):

(same as above, but 1/5 @ 1.8)

I kind of thought this one turned out half-way decent too.

Tomorrow I start work again. Vacation has been characterized by
irrational purchases on that site. Contax II copies with Sonnar,
Biogon and Biotar copies (copies, down to the last screw). It's been
fun. It's not often you can pick up a good light-box and glass for 30
dollars.

Now to get my PaW up-to-date (the shots are there, I've processed
them, I just haven't scanned them all). Time, time ...

Best,
Daniel
