Subject: [Leica] #280 > Leica IIIf : 50mm Summitar f2 : green filter : Kodak T400 CN > > http://www.geebeephoto.com/2005/05280.htm<<<< Hi Graham, Each time you post a picture we all learn the simplest of scenes can be made to look magical in design, shape, form and just plain old fashion... "damn I'd love to go there and take pictures!" :-) One doesn't have to fly to exotic lands with people in wonderfully coloured clothing to take interesting pictures. If we open our eyes to the many simple things around us in the countryside, yes we all have a country side, parks, farm areas and interesting buildings of design some where near by. If we open our eyes and look at scenes in simple compositional forms, particularly in B&W without distracting colours, we may find Graham has taught us to see in a way we've not in our photography before. The amazing thing in Grahams' photography is, the simplicity of the scene made to look so wonderful. In many cases our re-actions are... "Great shot, WOW and accolades go on!" Not just a week here, a month later. It's so consistant we should all be so lucky, certainly in our scenic work. In many cases a collection of his works should hang in the great art or photography galliers of the UK because it is excellant fine art photography. The UK government Department of Tourism should have Graham on a yearly retainer paying him very handsomely while using his work for promotion of the country. Question? Graham when my wife Irene and I are in London at the end of September, would you like me to have a word with Her Majesty about your photography and making use of your talent? ;-) ted
