I have erroneously associated the new "1D Mk II N" with the "1Ds Mk II" (fullframe) instead of the "1D Mk II" (not f.f.). This makes the 5D's price much more interesting as the 1DS Mk II costs around $7k. Stupid model name policy of Canon, by the way.
