Let's face it, flowers aren't the hippest of subjects among "pro photogs." And, on a Leica list, they are even less so. We tend toward black and white. We generally marginalize photos that do not include people's faces. We mostly want to be HCB. What Friday Flowers do for me is give me a minute or two to take pictures my Mom likes. Here you go, Mom. http://gallery.leica-users.org/Grab-Bag/Pickerel_Weed Ric Carter http://gallery.leica-users.org/Passing-Fancies On Aug 26, 2005, at 6:03 PM, Ted Grant wrote: > Sonny showed: > Subject: [Leica] Friday Flowers > > > >> Here's one you won't see too often: False Dragon-Head, possibly >> endangered >> from loss of habitat, road widening, herbicide run-off, and >> channelization >> of ditches. >> >> http://www.sonc.com/friday_8-26-05.htm<<<< >> > > Hi Sonny, > Sometimes one of your flower pictures comes on screen and the > reaction is...
