Another disappointing fact is the sensor size, only a 1/1.8" chip, while a at least APS-sized sensor was expected by many GR enthusiasts. First I was impressed by the ISO range going up to 1600, but with a 1/1.8" this is rather obsolete. A lot of noise must be expected with a setting higher than ISO 100. Look at the sample shots #7 and #8 at ISO 154 and you know what I mean. http://dc.watch.impress.co.jp/cda/review/2005/09/13/2281.html Even some 64 ISO shots show more noise than we would like to see. The pictures look quite sharp, but all in all, it's too much money for a too small sensor. OTOH I still like the idea of a fixed focus digital P&S with a accessory shoe for an external viewfinder (Leica, Zeiss, Voigtlander, whatever). Maybe the idea will be picked up by someone else - Epson? Zeiss-Ikon? Leica/Panasonic? Or Olympus/FourThirds?
