This is just what I am about to undertake. Lots of pictures from over
50 years. I will scan and then use iView to catalogue. In trying to
get the logistics straight I cannot seem to see my way out of the trees.
I begin with a scan, or any other form of file, then I had thought my
solution was to dump them all in a folder on my external HD and using
iView catalogue them. But, after I dump them in the folder how do I
know which have been cataloged and which not? If I just dive into my
folder the files will be random, and I see no way to tell which to
run through iVew.
If anyone sees my problem and has a thought please let me know.
