Don't do it!!!!!!!!!  (Unless kids are hungry, of course.)  There are plenty 
of things you can use it for.  

Impressionistic soft focus effects a'la' Noctilux. 

Try it as a macro.  Stick a Macro Adapter-R in there with or without the 
Extender.  

Stack a 2x and 1.4, with or wthout the Macro Adapter.  500 mm 5.6 Macro.

Great workout for the forearms, and to a lesser extent, the biceps.

PS   Separate the FLD filter?  
       The Elmarit-R is a 3-cam, correct?  Do you have the pol filter for 
the shade?
