I did an item for item comparison on the specs at B&H and the only difference was that it was stated that there was threads for filters-not included for the Leica while the Panasonic said Filters "no" So I can't even say that it has no threads. Other than that, the cameras are exactly the same, different wording for features. I don't even inted to buy one. As for digital I would go for a Canon 20D...probably by the time I have the money it would be a 30D ;-) For point and shoot digital I have to o with Olympus. I already own a C-5060 and around 8 xD cards so in order to save on storage I have to go with Olympus. peace David On Oct 21, 2005, at 8:40 PM, Aaron Sandler wrote: > To take you seriously for a moment, it might actually be worth the > extra money to some folks... > > I already bought the LX1 (and therefore saved the $200), but I believe > the Leica comes with a 3-year warrantee (vs 1 for the Panasonic) and > Photoshop Elements (not with the Panasonic), in addition to the red > dot.
