Especially being on the other side of the ocean, you really want to be selective about who you do business with in the US. I would stick to the following vendors: - Rich Pinto (photovillage.com) and Pat who advertises here on the LUG every week - B&H Photo in New York - KEH in Atlanta There are a lot of dodgy shops in Brooklyn and elsewhere; what they do is not outright fraud but comes close. Also, before buying overseas, always check prices at German or Dutch online shops--they are lower than in Spain, and you will not have to pay any customs duty or additional IVA when you receive the items.
