[Author Prev] [Author Next] [Thread Prev] [Thread Next] [Author Index] [Topic Index] [Home] [Search]I have posted a hodge-podge of pictures from the LHSA San Francisco meeting at http://gallery.leica-users.org/Seattle-to-SF I will forego the blow by blow descriptions, but point at only one photograph, which treats the same subject as Peter Klein's shot of the wash and tennis shoes, taken from exactly the same vantage point but in different light, in color rather than black and white, and to different effect: http://gallery.leica-users.org/Seattle-to-SF/EPSN6504_roofscape_with_wash_and_pair_of_shoes_screen (http://tinyurl.com/ct3st) I shot almost the entire visit with the R-D1, and was mostly satisified, except for the lack of a true rangefinder-coupled wide angle lens. The Cosina-Voigtlander 15mm is okay, acting as a 25mm equivalent, but it's slow and not rangefinder coupled. I miss (having the equivalent of) my Leica 24mm 2.8 ASPH! Enjoy, Mark
