Subject: [Leica] Friday Flowers

To set the record straight, the flower last week was a Camellia, quite
common in the South in cooler months. I get them confused with Gardenias,
which
as it was pointed out to me, have a deep perfume, while the camellia is
virtually scentless.

This morning, I was shooting and my neighbor stopped and pointed out a lone
bloom on a gardenia. Really a summertime flower. We've had drought
conditions here since Rita, and a small rainstorm recently must have
awakened the
plant.
