Erwin heard this form Stefan Daniel at the LHSA meeting in October. When compare this info with the last fotomontage in the LFI it might be a bit out of date already These are the highlights in the article: Kodak sensor which will have very special micro lenses to partly solve the angel of the incoming lightrays. Crop factor will be 1.33. 10,5 mega pixels. no anti alias filter, the infrared filter is incorporated with the sensor covering glass which is also hardened to make sure the filter is as thin as possible. Imacon is out, Jenoptik might be in. The Md will be shown at the Photokina 2006 and right away can be delivered(hahaha). Erwin thinks the price will be at least 4000 Euro. It will be a lookalike of the M7 but will not share the same housing. It will rather look like a big M5 with motor transport to cock the shutter. The shutter will be the same as in the R9. No interchangeable backs as with the DMR. 2.5 inch display and the normal M rangefinder. Not yet clear which frames or what the magnification of the vf will be. New wide angles will come to maintain the position of reportage camera. Cheers, Michiel Fokkema
