Presumably the film body that it's based on (N80?) would have similar wear problems. One could say that digital is great, since you took enough photos to kill your camera. I read somewhere that the D100 is rated for 30k cycles and the D70 for 40k (or something like that) - that's a lot of 'rolls' to put through a consumer-level camera. -- MP wooderson@gmail.com
