It's the nature of this new type of warfare in which any living, breathing human being is fair game. Reporters have become combantants become in this asymetrical war the truth is a major enemy. Not that truth isn't always the enemy in a war, but this on in particular would seem to target journalists. On the insurgent side - hey, it's just a good deal to kill 'em because you get bigger headlines. On the US/Iraqii side you pay for reportage and devalue the real stuff. It seems like the last thing the Middle East really wants is high-quality journalism reporting what is REALLY happening there. Someone might be held accountable! Adam
