Whenever I purchase "toys" I go to the nearer pond, river shore or lake shore and with an old Leica strap just whip my back until the logo is embeded on the skin, take a picture of the surroundings and go home a eat a sandwich while fundling with instruction manuals, plastic wraps and the sort. If your loveone starts naggin' about Digging, have her sit down an view the wonderful photos. At least she'll come to a compromise with you. ;-) peace David On Tuesday, January 10, 2006, at 12:44PM, Bill Clough <bill_clough@yahoo.com> wrote: >USA >TEXAS >CORPUS CHRISTI >10 January 2006 > >Hi there-- > > I can't speak for anyone else, but every time I have >made some photographic purchase I experience numerous pangs >of guilt...at least for a while. > > I felt that way about the Leica M6...about the 35mm >Summicron... > > ...and about Michael Hintlian's "Digging"--until it >arrived. > > It is outstanding: well worth the price; it is well >worth the wait. > >Yours non-guiltily-- > >--Bill > >_______________________________________________ >Leica Users Group. >See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information > >
