Subject: [Leica] More screwmount craziness

Has anyone tried to fit the optical group out of a modern 50/2.8 into  
the focusing mount of a period 50/2.8? The new mounts do not seem to  
have focal length variations like the older mounts use to. It would  
be a neat way to get modern Leica glass in a screwmount.
