That means no bodies were found in the building. One relatively small house had an "8" between the legs. Many of the animals in the uptown district were saved by the SPCA during the first 2 weeks after Katrina. The Lower 9th Ward pets were not so lucky. It's the numbers that show that these are not scenes taken out of context ... this is the way it is. I am fascinated by the painted messages on the walls. It reminds me of the messages Oslo junkies leave each other when someone is missing at a session. I had that on a PaW last year. The messages say things; what is important for whom or things someone think will be important for others. More.
