At first I thought it was the detail in the trees making it a little warmer image with a confused message, lovely trees and light, menacing shadows, dark snaggle with beautiful light.... Then I read the comment about the low buildings on the right and my brain snapped. It is a stunning image if you remove the lower portion of the image removing the small buildings, and crop pretty tightly from the left to remove most of the image to the tall part of the building. Possibly leaving one stair step to allow some room on the right. Now we have a lovely abstract image of light and shadow, human regularity and natural free form. 0.02 Don don.dory@gmail.com On 2/23/06, Adam Bridge <abridge@gmail.com> wrote: > > I was in Long Beach supporting my wife at the IECA convention (lots of > VERY outdoors people unhappy about being indoors during gorgeous > weather - IECA is the "International Erosion Control Association") and > they were at the Long Beach Convention Center. > > We stayed in the Renaissance Long Beach which was a short walk away.
