A trick I was taught for cleaning photo-flo off of reels was to give
them a good dip in fix before they dry, then rinse with water.

 

No, I think it makes a gummy film that is hard to remove. I'm hoping
that a good wash in Dawn dishwashing liquid will help me keep them
ungummed.
