A member of staff at the Panasonic booth at the CEBIT computer and 
electronics fair in Germany has stated some interesting news:

- release of the L1 confirmed for fall 2006
- price level EUR 2000 including Vario Elmarit lens (less than expected)
- Leica will present several 4/3 lenses at the Photokina in septembre
- These lenses are produced by Panasonic under control of Leica staff
- a parallel Leica model (Digilux-3?) of the L1 is apparently very likely
