Subject: [Leica] CS2 opening NEF files?

I've started scanning some old B&W film and have tried making NEF files with 
my LS4000. I can't get Photoshop CS2 to open them, though Bridge has no 
problem with them. Does anyone know the secret? I've got the latest Camera 
Raw plugin (3.3). Do I need to convert them to DNG first?
