As to NPR and riding the T - All I can figure is that it's a really snotty comment on non-tweedie people.... Which reminds me - Totally off photo topic but it tells you a lot about Cambridge in general, and the Harvard Square world in particular, and it really cracked me up... So right where you come out of the T in Harvard Square is this large, round advertising kiosk on which advertisers place posters. Recently it was completely covered with a white background, and studio photo image of a timber wolf, with an Adidas sneaker hanging from it's mouth, looking down on a little lamb, who was looking up at the wolf and the sneaker. No copy at all. Well, after a few days, a balloon appeared above the wolf's head reading, "I'm a gonna eat you," and the same wag had drawn little fangs on the lamb, and a balloon reading "I'm a eat you." Within another couple days someone had crossed out the word "eat" in the wolf's balloon, and written in "deconstruct" - as in "I'm a gonna deconstruct you," and the lamb was now saying "I'm a write a thesis about you." Next, the lamb's balloon was modified to read, "I'm a do an interpretive dance on you." Only in Harvard Square. :-) On 3/18/06 5:52 PM, "Arche, Harvey" <Harvey.Arche@jp2hs.org> wrote: > B.D.- > > I think Walker Evans would have loved these shots, and the camera.
