Long waiting times means slow connection, but slow transitions with flash 
sites means slow processor. Flash needs a lot of raw processor power, runs 
fastest on Pentium IV above 2 GHz, and slower on Macs. BTW that was the 
other way round in the times of Apple's PowerPC 604 vs. Pentium I and II, 
but since Macromedia has optimized Flash for Intel (and Intel optimized the 
Pentiums III and IV for Flash), the Macs got significantly behind. Maybe one 
of the reasons why Apple is now switching to Intel :-) ...
