There are a pair of Wrens and a Warbler I'm still trying to get, but they never stay in one place more than a second or so, and the Wren is an absolute master of camouflage. I may have to put a rubber band round the local Jay's beak :-) to stop him warning everyone as soon as I open the door. Otherwise, I'm having loads of fun just trying to find them in a suitable position to shoot, and it gets me away from my desk for the breath of fresh air which is more than needed once or twice a day. cheers Douglas Douglas Herr wrote: > > On Apr 18, 2006, at 3:58 AM, Douglas Sharp wrote: > >> I think I may gradually be getting the hang of this bird photography :-) >> >> This little bird has been singing its head off in the cherry tree all >> morning. >> http://gallery.leica-users.org/New-Old-Pictures/MG_3758_edited_1 >> http://gallery.leica-users.org/New-Old-Pictures/MG_3753_edited_1 >> http://gallery.leica-users.org/New-Old-Pictures/MG_3749_edited_1 >> http://gallery.leica-users.org/New-Old-Pictures/MG_3747_edited_1 >> Cheers >> Douglas >> >> Technical stuff: Canon 20D, Leica Telyt-R 250/4 (heavy version), IE >> 400, taken from the comfort of our front room >> > > Yes you are getting the hang of it, and I welcome the 'competition' > >> from you and from David Young to keep me on my toes. > > > Doug Herr > Birdman of Sacramento > http://www.wildlightphoto.com > > > _______________________________________________ > Leica Users Group. > See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information > >
