Subject: [Leica] Monitor calibration (was Umbria and Saas Fee 2006)

My Lacie has a one or two year warranty. It dies just after 3 years. I 
believe the ColorEdge has a one year warranty also.

Unfortunately, nowaday higher cost doesn't mean squat in terms of 
longevity, unless you are talking about a Leica. Your grandchildren would 
be able to use it to pound nails where the last rolls of Tri X disappears.
