These are basically grab shot cameras. There is a qualitative difference in simply being able to bring the camera to your eye and snap a picture and being required to hold the camera a foot or so away to compose the shot on a LCD finder. Its the difference between a Leica and an SLR. I know - aftermarket finders can be attached to most of them but these make it difficult to slip in and out of a pocket. How hard would it be to include an eye level finder? They don't take much space and are cheap to make. My old Olympus Pen 1/2 frame camera (not the SLR) had a very decent finder and the whole camera cost only $50 new. Larry Z
