Hello , I tried to document some typical scenes seen during a trip from the
Middle east to China and Thailand.
The first page contains a picture of a terrain map display of the border
between Pakistan and China the K2 route.
In the lower left corner one can see the elevation of the terrain in the
display 28200 feet.
Next are some shots of that most dreaded moment sunrise during which I try
to stay out of my seat. You can see my collegue making himself as small as
possible to escape the glare.next are some views of the Gobi dessert.

On the next page there are some pics of the engineer checking the plane for
any damage i might have done.
Those wheels might not look like much but they each carry a static load of
25 metric tons.
At the bottom are some Chinese highway scenes. Those highways are even used
by pedestrians causing many exciting moments during the drive.

The last page has some shots of monsoon clouds over Laos and Thailand,a
glimpse odf Bangkok below the clouds and finally
the view from my Bangkok hotel room .The boats on the river never cease to
fascinate me.
