Saludos cordiales, Luis -----Mensaje original----- De: lug-bounces+luisripoll=telefonica.net@leica-users.org [mailto:lug-bounces+luisripoll=telefonica.net@leica-users.org] En nombre de Douglas Sharp Enviado el: s?bado, 30 de septiembre de 2006 3:32 Para: Leica Users Group Asunto: [Leica] A not really Friday flower selection The wonderful flower shots this Friday made me think of some stuff I did 18 months or so ago, working on a commissioned project for a high-end audio concern over here in Germany. All rather formal and posed indoors on my desk, some with rather a lot of PS work to try and match the ideas that the company had great difficulty putting across - either that, or I was just too dense to comprehend what they wanted. Here are some of the ideas that were left over - some of you may have seen some of them before - some of you may not. Blue Iris - one of this series was selected by Lindemann for their website, flyers, brochures etc see http://www.lindemann-audio.de/en/ http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/DMS/New-Old-Pictures/album150/Iris_3.jpg.ht ml http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/DMS/New-Old-Pictures/album150/Iris_1.jpg.ht ml The rejects, and the reasons for rejection Rejected straight away - they decided they wanted flowers http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/DMS/New-Old-Pictures/album150/MG_1485_edite d_3.jpg.html Muscari - the colour was right , the flower wasn't http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/DMS/New-Old-Pictures/album150/MG_1307_Full_ cropped_edited_3.jpg.html A Pussy-willow bud - too wiry, or too airy http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/DMS/New-Old-Pictures/album150/Furry.jpg.htm l http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/DMS/New-Old-Pictures/album150/MG_1261_edite d_2.jpg.html White Calla Lily - was in the running for a while, but the owner's wife wanted blue http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/DMS/New-Old-Pictures/album150/Calla_2.jpg.h tml http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/DMS/New-Old-Pictures/album150/Calla_4.jpg.h tml A glass of flowers - this was something the webmaster liked but the company didn't http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/DMS/New-Old-Pictures/album150/Regina_1.jpg. html Lisianthus - too pale, too rose-like http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/DMS/New-Old-Pictures/album150/Lisianthus_2. jpg.html Pieris - too much detail, distracted from the product page, not blue http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/DMS/New-Old-Pictures/album150/MG_1146_edite d_2.jpg.html Lily - too extravagant http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/DMS/New-Old-Pictures/album150/White_Lily_2. jpg.html http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/DMS/New-Old-Pictures/album150/Yello_Lily_2. jpg.html Strelitzia - too alien, too colourful http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/DMS/New-Old-Pictures/album150/Regina_1.jpg. html http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/DMS/New-Old-Pictures/album150/Regina_2.jpg. html Creeping Phlox - almost the right blue, but too simple and boring http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/DMS/New-Old-Pictures/album150/MG_1285_crop_ rotate_edited_3.jpg.html Thanks to all of you for showing yours, I hope you like some of these.
