Subject: [Leica] Cotton 2006

As you travel from Shreveport to Natchitoches, you are generally treated to
some wonderful Red River delta landscapes; flat, with hundreds of acres on
either side of the road.

I never tire of the drive.

Cotton is being harvested, and from the looks of it, the yield is high, and
so far, no hurricanes to spoil the crop.

Three shots from today. A sea of a crop ready for picking, cotton being
brought to consolidate into truckloads, and a dust devil in a freshly
harvested
and plowed field.
