I'm using an Olympus E-500, but I got an annoying lag using the E-330
and a new Canon DSLR. But perhaps my tolerance for shutter lag is
lower than most. I never had a problem using the Leica or a Olympus
OM 1 or 4 SLR. I guess it must be due to the focus time. Next time
I'll try the manual focus mode and see if it helps. The shortest
shutter lag times I ever experienced were on between the lens shutter
cameras like the Rollei 35 and the Kodak Medalist.
