Usually I scan at 1200 ppi for 35 mm and 900 for 6x6..., and 8 bit. Your opinion, and others will be welcome Saludos desde Barcelona Luis -----Mensaje original----- De: lug-bounces+luisripoll=telefonica.net@leica-users.org [mailto:lug-bounces+luisripoll=telefonica.net@leica-users.org] En nombre de Nathan Wajsman Enviado el: s?bado, 07 de octubre de 2006 9:15 Para: Leica Users Group Asunto: Re: [Leica] Spanish Clouds II Hi Luis, I wonder how much of the difference is due to scanning--I suspect that the Leica negatives are scanned on a proper film scanner, while the Rollei ones are scanned on a flatbed. I find it difficult to believe that Rolleiflex is inferior to Leica, given some of the magnificent square images posted over the years by Daniel and others.
