I've never understood the attraction of golf, but it certainly provides some picturesque scenery. Links courses are those that are built through sand dunes (which can reach 50 feet in height) on the seashore, and generally dont have trees at all - the normal defence is wind and rain. This is the only course that I took my camera out - in Ireland, rain is unpredictable and frequent.
