Expose for the shadows, develop for the highlights and choose the right light to begin with. Many of the big named shooters seem to choose their light as almost a signature. That in itself will provide the tone you seek. It would be an interesting experiment to shoot the same film, the same light, the same chemistry and a variety of 50's just to see what happens. :-) Walt Luis Ripoll wrote: >Hi Walt, > >Im wondering the collapsible for two main reasons, one is to obtain the >subtle grey tones "vintage style" that I had with the "Rigid" (the actual >Elmar is very nice, but more contrasty and sharp), the second reason - as >you do - is to carry it constantly. > >Thanks for your opinion, > >Best! >Luis > >-----Mensaje original----- >De: lug-bounces+luisripoll=telefonica.net@leica-users.org >[mailto:lug-bounces+luisripoll=telefonica.net@leica-users.org] En nombre de >Walt Johnson >Enviado el: viernes, 27 de octubre de 2006 15:59 >Para: Leica Users Group >Asunto: Re: [Leica] Opinions Collapsible Cron vs. Elmar or others > >Luis > >I have one (collapsible) and carry it constantly.
